“If You Have Something to Say, Just Spit It Out, Will You?~?” So I Said Everything—Here’s What Happened — Part 3

As I yelled, forcibly pulling her back upright by the shoulders, Koyanagi hid a pleased smile, her mouth twitching as if she were trying to suppress it.

“Well… see you later.”

“Huh? Uh, yeah…”

Straightening her collar, she hurried out of the clubroom.

“…What was that about?”

I tilted my head, completely baffled by her behavior.

But this wasn’t the end of Koyanagi’s strange actions.

From then on, at every opportunity…

“Prez, I bought one of those outfits meant to ‘drive a virgin crazy.’ What do you think? Got anything to say—?”

“Are you trying to kill me?! I almost died from how painfully cute that was! And yes, I’m still a virgin, thanks for reminding me!!”

“Hey, Prez? This is the swimsuit I bought the other day. Got anything to say—?”

“Bikinis are wonderful! Thank you for the stunning view of your legs and cleavage! But first off! Don’t wear a swimsuit in the clubroom!!”

“Prez, this is the maid outfit I’m gonna wear at the cultural festival. What do you think? I even put on garters. Got anything to say—?”

“Stop lifting your skirt! Thank you very much! I never thought I’d see black garters in real life, thank you! Though, personally, I think white would suit you as well, but thank you again!”

…Each time, Koyanagi would do something to provoke me, and each time, I yelled at the top of my lungs. And every time, Koyanagi would give me this pleased, satisfied smile, and I’d find myself feeling unexpectedly flustered by her expression.

Then, one day, after several rounds of this…

“…Oh, hey, Koyanagi.”

“Hey, Prez.”

When I entered the clubroom, I found Koyanagi leaning on the window sill, staring out blankly at the sky, looking different from usual.

Slightly wary of her unusual attitude, I took the seat in front of her. Slowly, she turned to face me.

“Prez.”

“…What?”

“I might have to transfer schools.”

“…Huh?”

Her words were so unexpected that I could only stare at her in shock.

“It’s not decided yet… but my grandma’s been feeling unwell. Someone has to take care of her, so my family might move to where she lives…”

“…”

“My dad said I could stay here until I graduate, but living alone would be tough, and I don’t want to leave all the responsibility for my grandma to my mom, so…”

She trailed off, looking at me with sad eyes as her gaze wandered around the room.

“Hey, Prez…”

“…What?”

“Don’t you have something you want to say to me?”

“…”

“If you’ve got something to say… then say it clearly.”

…Maybe it was time to make up my mind.

Up until now, I’d always spoken impulsively. I said what was on my mind and let it go at that. But this time… this time, I had to say it seriously, not just on impulse. I had to face it head-on.

“Koyanagi…”

I straightened up, looked her in the eyes, and took her hand.

“Don’t go. Stay here… with me.”

“…!”

“I love you… Will you go out with me?”

Her eyes widened in surprise at my confession…

“Hehe, okay.”

And she gave me a shy smile.

Seeing her smile, the best I’d ever seen, emotions welled up in my chest. Before I knew it, I was holding her hands with both of mine and letting my desires spill out.

“Of course, I’d like this relationship to be serious, with marriage in mind. Ideally, we’d get married after I’ve been working for about three years after college. I’ll be taking over my parents’ company, so I’d like you to be a stay-at-home wife, but we can discuss that. I’d also like to have about 12 kids. If we could complete the zodiac with our children, that would be perfect—what do you think?”

“Uh, um… sure? I’ll do my best?”

Koyanagi blinked in confusion, her body slightly leaning back, but she nodded awkwardly.

And so, we officially became a couple.

[The End]

  1. 12 kids?! Bro's making a full american football team! If she actually goes through with it, that would be true love and devotion! She'd literally be pregnant for 9-10 years. Almost a decade of being pregnant. I kinda wish there was an epilogue just to see if this actually ends up happening. Raising 12 kids must be absolute hell...
