The guest was delighted, and the group eagerly moved toward the elevators. Li Jie and He Su Ye deliberately lingered at the back, walking slowly. Li Jie turned back to Shen Xi Fan, clasping his hands together in a dramatic bow of gratitude. His exaggerated, comical expression, complete with eyebrows dancing like a playful Buddha, made her smile. He Su Ye lightly knocked Li Jie on the head before smiling and waving at her.
Watching them until the elevator doors closed, Shen Xi Fan called Cheng Dong Qian. “Mr. Cheng, I moved the guest into the suite your daughter usually stays in because of a room adjustment request. I made the decision on my own. How should I proceed?”
Cheng Dong Qian thought for a moment. “Did she reserve the room?”
“No, she didn’t,” Shen Xi Fan replied after a brief pause.
“Then that’s fine!” Cheng said lightly. “If she gets upset, let her come to me. You don’t need to take responsibility for this.”

Back in her office, Shen Xi Fan picked up the accounting ledger again with frustration and let out a heavy sigh. She had barely read two lines when her phone buzzed. Curious but reluctant, she checked the screen—it was a message from an unknown number:
“Dress warmly. It’s easy to catch a cold in this weather.”
Her mood instantly brightened, and she couldn’t suppress the smile spreading across her face. Although she initially wanted to maintain her composure, she couldn’t resist replying right away:
“Dr. He, can’t you ever turn off your professional instincts?”
The reply came almost immediately:
“Little Miss Sharp Tongue, I was kindly reminding you to stay healthy, but it seems you’re already telling me you’ve caught a cold.”
Holding her phone, Shen Xi Fan chuckled softly. A warmth spread through her, starting from her hands. The cold flush on her face from earlier seemed to fade, replaced by a lively glow. Feeling the heat rising to her cheeks, she quickly composed herself, poured some tea, and prepared to return to her work.
Looking out the window, she noticed the sunlight streaming through, golden and gentle. Her lips curved into a faint smile, her eyes sparkling with a contented warmth.

That evening, during her shift, Shen Xi Fan had dinner in the staff cafeteria. Xu Xiang Ya, animated as ever, waved her chopsticks like drumsticks as she excitedly recounted her day in the Chinese restaurant. “He was so handsome! Not just graceful and refined, but absolutely extraordinary. And his smile? Ugh, so adorable it’s almost illegal! It’s maddening—where’s the justice in this world?”
Shen Xi Fan absentmindedly picked at her food. “Xiang Ya, can you eat like a normal person?”
“I’m not even hungry! I got so much eye candy today; it’ll keep me satisfied for ages.” She reached over with her chopsticks to grab a piece of meat from Shen Xi Fan’s plate.
Laughing, Shen Xi Fan said, “Not hungry, huh? Fine, take it all. I’ll just have a snack later tonight.”
After dinner, as they walked through the lobby, they saw Lin Yi Shen and He Su Ye standing together, chatting and laughing. The two strikingly handsome men drew every gaze in the room, their presence commanding a near 200% turn rate.
Xu Xiang Ya, clearly overwhelmed with excitement, clutched Shen Xi Fan’s arm. “Fan Fan, that’s him! Isn’t he handsome?”
Shen Xi Fan smiled sincerely. “He is. Truly handsome! Standing next to Lin Yi Shen, they’re perfectly matched.”
Noticing them staring, Lin Yi Shen winked and approached. “So, who’s more handsome—me or the other guy?”
“Obviously the other guy!” Xu Xiang Ya replied without hesitation.
Lin Yi Shen pretended to look wounded. Shen Xi Fan took the opportunity to tease him. “We see you every day—it’s only natural we’d want a change of scenery. Besides, he really is something special—unique, with a distinctive charm!”
