Maiko must have said something clever, as she always does. The silver-haired man laughed heartily, his voice resonating with genuine amusement.
“This place will definitely become important to me. I need to get it together,” Hina thought, focusing intently on the conversation before her, trying not to miss a word.
As Hina looked at the men again, she couldn’t help but admire them.
These three men were incredibly handsome.
The blonde man looked like a prince straight out of a fairytale. The silver-haired man was just as stunning as the blonde and carried the same air of nobility. The two seemed to share a friendly rapport, likely because they were of equal status.
The man with dark blue hair was, of course, also attractive, but compared to the other two, he seemed a bit more understated.
“I think I like the blonde one the best,” Hina mused as she observed them.
Just then, the man with dark blue hair spoke.
“My apologies for the prince’s manners. These gentlemen are Prince Arthur and Prince Louis. I am Ellis, their escort,” he said politely.
“Princes!!”
Wait, what? No way!
Were these men really princes?
Hina had thought they resembled the princes she had admired in picture books as a child, but for them to actually be royalty…
Hina’s excitement surged.
Suppressing the sudden pounding in her chest, she stepped forward and introduced herself.
“Prince Arthur, Prince Louis, my name is Hina Sakurai. Please call me Hina.”
“Hina, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” said Prince Louis, the blonde one, with a refined and kind smile.
“Ah, he’s a real prince,” Hina thought, her heart trembling.
“I want to get closer to Prince Louis,” she wished fervently.
But then, Hina’s attention shifted as she noticed Prince Arthur, the silver-haired one, reacting to Maiko.
When Maiko introduced herself, Arthur responded with great interest, even though all she did was formally say, “Please call me Fukui.”
“Fukui, huh? I’ll call you Maiko,” Arthur said, laughing as if he found it immensely amusing.
He didn’t say anything when I introduced myself, Hina thought bitterly.
“He’s clearly more interested in Maiko than me.”
That realization made Hina focus on Arthur instead. She couldn’t let Maiko steal this beautiful silver-haired prince too.
Her heart darkened with jealousy.
The princes then explained why they had summoned them to this world.
It seemed that the two of them—Hina and Maiko—had been called because they fit the criteria of "those who could grant the knowledge the princes desired."
Apparently, the princes had expected only one person to be summoned, but instead, both Hina and Maiko had arrived.
