Note: Without a certain level of familiarity with the late Sengoku period, it might be difficult to grasp some of the references.
Each thread is numbered from 1 to 1000 in chronological order. For example, if thread number 820 is followed by 25, it indicates that the first thread has reached 1000 and moved to the next one.
Thread titles occasionally appear to improve readability and can also be used as bookmarks.

“It’s starting!”
70: Viewer, currently watching
“Kannonji is here!” (Referring to Kannonji Temple, likely the starting location of this RTA.)

“Starting at Kannonji is a staple in Mitsunari RTA.”

“What’s the ‘Three Cups of Tea’?”

“It’s a story where Mitsunari, then a temple servant, served tea to Hideyoshi during a hunting break.
First, he served lukewarm tea to quench Hideyoshi’s thirst.
Next, he served slightly hotter tea in a smaller portion to let him savor the flavor.
Finally, he served extremely hot tea in a small amount to highlight the tea’s quality.
Hideyoshi was impressed by this thoughtful gesture and appointed Mitsunari as his page.”

“Did that actually happen?”

“If you’re asking whether it’s historical, it’s probably fiction. But as an event to raise Hideyoshi’s favorability, starting with the ‘Three Cups of Tea’ makes perfect sense.”
153: Viewer, currently watching
“He suddenly lines up three cups of tea, lol.”
169: Viewer, currently watching
“Three cups of tea are lined up in front of Hideyoshi…”
171: Viewer, currently watching
“Hideyoshi looks slightly puzzled, lol.”
176: Viewer, currently watching
“Is this okay? Doesn’t the order of serving matter?”
182: Viewer, currently watching
“Well, he got appointed as a page, so I guess it’s fine?”

RTA in Japan “Ishida Mitsunari” Live Commentary (Around the Retreat from China) ☆4
421: Viewer, currently watching
“The campaign in China is progressing steadily, nothing unusual so far, though there are occasional odd behaviors.”
426: Viewer, currently watching

“Picking a fight with Kiyomasa the moment they meet counts as ‘steadily progressing’?”
428: Viewer, currently watching
“Stop whispering ‘Orankai, Orankai’ at Kiyomasa’s bedside while he’s sleeping, lol. How many years until the Korean campaign, anyway?”
511: Viewer, currently watching
“The China campaign is here.”
513: Viewer, currently watching
“Alright, this is a turning point in history—what’s the plan?”
559: Viewer, currently watching
“Other than unnecessarily overhauling the highways, everything seems pretty normal.”
570: Viewer, currently watching
“He’s prompting Kiyomasa Konishi, who’s managing naval supplies, to prepare waterways. No loose ends here, either.”
655: Viewer, currently watching
“Everything is on track up until the Incident at Honnoji.”
722: Viewer, currently watching
“!?”
769: Viewer, currently watching
“Huh???”
822: Viewer, currently watching
“(゜Д゜)?”
868: Viewer, currently watching
“What!??”
892: Viewer, currently watching
“He warped, lol.”
910: Viewer, currently watching
“Mitsunari, why are you suddenly in Sakai, lol?”
923: Viewer, currently watching
“What did he even do?”
927: Viewer, currently watching
“Oh, I get it. It’s because his older brother, Masatsuna, is flagged as serving with Hideyoshi during the campaign.
Since Masatsuna is set to act as the ‘Ishida brothers’ in the campaign, Mitsunari himself stayed in Sakai.
From our perspective, it looks like Mitsunari is participating in the campaign, but when he starts doing things in Sakai, it feels like he teleported.”
966: Viewer, currently watching
“This is something only possible because Mitsunari was still a nobody at this point.”
1000: Viewer, currently watching
“I don’t get it…”
35: Viewer, currently watching
“Light interaction with Ieyasu and others in Sakai.”
41: Viewer, currently watching
“Does meeting Ieyasu here even matter?”
49: Viewer, currently watching
“Aanayama Baisetsu survives!!” (Historical figure who died after Honnoji; survival here is an unusual outcome.)
51: Viewer, currently watching
“He survived?! No way!”
56: Viewer, currently watching
“Oh, so this is why Mitsunari stayed in Sakai…”
67: Viewer, currently watching
“What? What changes now?”
81: Viewer, currently watching
“No idea. This is the first time I’ve seen Baisetsu survive in a Mitsunari RTA.”
83: Viewer, currently watching
“Just the fact that Anayama Baisetsu survives requires an incredible amount of luck. Incorporating this into an RTA is borderline artisanal skill.”
158: Viewer, currently watching
“Ieyasu successfully crosses Iga with Anayama.”
165: Viewer, currently watching
“Meanwhile, Hideyoshi is nearing the final stages of the Great Retreat from China.”
172: Viewer, currently watching
“He’s moving half a day faster than the historical timeline.”
174: Viewer, currently watching
“He’s cleverly using the Seto Inland Sea routes in a ‘just in case’ kind of way.”
192: Viewer, currently watching
“Akechi Mitsuhide is preparing to confront Hideyoshi.”
203: Viewer, currently watching
“Mitsuhide is completely unprepared.”
214: Viewer, currently watching
“It was ridiculously fast in the historical timeline, and now it’s even half a day faster—it’s no wonder Mitsuhide didn’t expect this.”
229: Viewer, currently watching
“But I’m anxious to see how the Battle of Yamazaki will turn out.”
